Columbus — Auditor of State Dave Yost’s Ohio Stops Fraud mobile application is now available for Android users. Ohio Stops Fraud was launched in January 2014 as an iPhone app and allows users to easily report suspected fraud in government anytime, anywhere.
“Ohio Stops Fraud is a valuable tool in the fight for government accountability,” Auditor Yost said. “Increasing its accessibility to Android users will strengthen Ohio’s army of citizen auditors.”
Since its launch, Ohio Stops Fraud has been downloaded by more than 400 iPhone users and generated 20 tips that have been reviewed by the Auditor of State’s office, or referred to other agencies.
